Nahid Khataw

NahidNahid Khataw is President of Accurate CAD & Technical Services, Inc., a firm she founded in March 2003. Before starting Accurate CAD & Technical Services, Mrs. Khataw began her first entrepreneurship in 2000 as an interior decorator and owner of Interiors by Ambiance.

In addition to running successful businesses, Mrs. Khataw is engaged with numerous other non-profit organizations in the Greater Austin community. She has also been a long-time advocate of education of both children and adults and served as a volunteer at Cypress Creek Elementary for English as a Second Language (ESL) classes from 1994 through 1997.

Mrs. Khataw has been a resident of Austin for 25 years and is married to local businessman Ali R. Khataw, P.E. The couple resides in Austin with their two children, Zain & Salva. 

Amy Nguyen

Photo on 2011-07-23 at 17.51Born in Houston, Texas, Amy Nguyen moved to Austin to attend university. She graduated with a dual degree in Economics and Finance with a minor in Accounting from UT Austin’s McCombs School of Business. Amy currently serves as Secretary of the Board of the Ace Foundation, and has been a member since 2011.

Youthful and optimistic, Amy brings energy to our team. She has a passion for promoting education and health for children, and has spent the past 5 years volunteering her time to local hospitals and schools.

Christopher Sheng

Christopher ShengChristopher Sheng, born and raised in Austin, Texas, received a Bachelor’s degree in evolutionary biology from the University of Colorado before returning home and getting a Master’s degree in engineering from the University of Texas at Austin. Christopher has six years of experience in business management, process improvement, and forecast expenditures of operational budgets. He has also coached teams to improve their process negotiations skills to optimize business development.

Christopher is currently a Partner Connectivity Solutions Manager at Hewlett Packard and is pursuing an MBA at the University of Texas at Austin. He joined the ACE Foundation’s board in 2011.

Karen Boyer Kuah

karen-boyer-kuahKaren spent 7 years in Asia conducting business training and teaching at universities. She spent 2 years in Japan, where she first began learning about Asian culture. After Japan, Karen spent 5 years in China, where she also learned to speak conversational Chinese.

Karen has been involved with nonprofits for over a decade. She has served in a variety of capacities including executive director, employee, committee member and volunteer.

Now Karen uses her experiences working and volunteering with membership organizations at MemberFindMe, a website and membership technology solutions provider for small to mid sized organizations.

Ramesh Swaminathan

Ramesh_PhotoRamesh Swaminathan, PE, is a registered Professional Engineer in the State of Texas and is currently the Managing Engineer with the City of Austin’s Watershed Protection Department responsible for the Operations, Maintenance and Engineering Support for the Waller Creek Tunnel Program in Downtown Austin. Ramesh was born and raised in India, received a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the Manipal Institute of Technology before he came to the United States to get his Master’s degree from the University of Rhode Island in Kingston, RI. Ramesh has over 23 years of experience in various aspects of engineering, public-private partnerships, sponsoring and delivering variety of complex civil infrastructure projects, operation and maintenance. Over the years Ramesh has been part of several non-profit and charitable organizations including Big Brother, Big Sister, Boy Scouts of America, Austin Hindu Temple, Chinmaya Mission Austin and PROJECT Males. Cecile Dong

Cecile DongBorn in Shanghai, China, Cecile came to Austin, TX in 2012 sponsored by her former employer, a financial consulting firm headquartered in New York City. She is a MBA graduate of Class 2015 at McCombs, University of Texas at Austin. Cecile has years experience working with industry leaders and knowledgeable healthcare, technology and other sectors’ investors, in Asia, Europe and North America.

After graduated from UT, Cecile joined Dell as a Business Intelligence Manager for Small Business Sector in North America. She continues her strong interests in data analysis in both marketing and finance. Cecile has been working with several non-profits in the past for refugee camp youth education, low-income residency neighborhood building and healthcare services in the local community. She joined the ACE Foundation’s board in 2015.
